Iris unguicularis 'Mary Barnard'

'Mary Barnard' is a good deep purple selection of the winter flowering Iris unguicularis.
There are a number of stocks in circulation with mottled flowers as a result of virus infection, which are probably best destroyed.
Flowers much more freely than many of the selected forms.
