Polygonatum polyanthemum 'F&S 364
A low growing species, originally from N.Iran (FS 364). It has a quality about it not shown by any other species I grow. It is crisp, fresh, well defined. The shiny green leaves are without the milky greyish tones that haunt other species, and the flowers are lime and white instead of the dull blur of green and white that sprout from the armpits of other species like crystallised sweat (but I love them for it anyway).
