Epimedium diphyllum 'Variegatum'
There are a couple of variegated Epimediums on the fringes of cultivation. This is probably the commonest. The leaves are marbled with white in an erratic pattern that increases as they mature until they resemble the explosive pattern of the universe shortly after the Big Bang.
It is fascinating, but only a strong stomach could call it beautiful.
