Arisaema ciliatum v liubaense
This year old seedling makes a rather dull picture, but its exotic brown and white striped flowers will eventually be worth waiting for.
Seed from the Alpine Garden Society, sown 14.01.04.

In it's second growing season the plants have reached a decent size. It has prospered in a pot in the shade tunnel, with embarrasingly little attention.

The young plants flowered first at only three years old, which I am really pleased about. Large impressive flowers.

There is significant variation in the seedlings, so when I get a moment I will have to check that they are correctly named, and that I haven't raised a pot of mixed seed.
