Arisaema amurense
I prefer to grow Arisaemas from seed - it protects the tubers in the wild and gives you a small population of plants to work with. All it takes is seed and patience.
This seed form the Alpine Garden Society was sown in January 2004 as soon as it arrived. Arisaema seed has a short life once it is dried out. The pots are sat in a shady place under a plastic propagator lid and left to get on with it. This shows the seedlings in their second year.
