Chlorophytum krookianum

Chlorophytum krookianum
This vigorous species is remarkable for being hardy, at least in the southern part of the UK. The flower stems arise in summer and carry the expected small white stars on wiry upright stems. Frosts will destroy the leaves, but resting buds in the crown withstand frost and grow vigorously in the spring.
